Learn how our students build character, independence and leadership through teamwork, outdoor activities and practical experiences in Scouts CCA.
Established in 2018, our Scouts CCA provides students with opportunities to develop leadership, confidence and a strong sense of responsibility through meaningful outdoor experiences and activities. As the school's Uniformed Group CCA, Scouts nurtures character, resilience and a spirit of service, encouraging students to contribute positively to the school and wider community.
Through engaging hands-on activities, students acquire essential outdoor and life skills such as knotting, pioneering, tent pitching and outdoor cooking. They learn to construct basic camp gadgets using ropes and poles, prepare meals using outdoor cooking equipment, and navigate their surroundings through hiking and orienteering activities. Scouts also develop first aid and emergency preparedness skills, strengthening their problem-solving abilities and confidence in handling challenging situations.
Beyond outdoor skills, our Scouts learn the importance of teamwork, discipline and respect for others. Through camps, competitions, National Day celebrations and community service initiatives such as Food from the Heart, they develop empathy, leadership and a sense of responsibility towards those around them.
Aligned with the development of 21st Century Competencies, our Scouts CCA nurtures confident, resourceful and caring individuals who are ready to take on challenges, lead by example and make a positive difference in their community.
